3. If your college or university is not affiliated with Chicago Center, you will pay tuition to and receive your credit through Millikin University. You are responsible to transfer the credits back to your college or university.
If you are matriculating as a “Guest Student" of Millikin University, we will send a copy of your Chicago Center Application Cover Sheet to Registrar Walt Wessel. They will send you a tuition invoice (typically by email) and you'll pay your tuition to Millikin University. Download the 2008 Millikin University "Guest Student fees sheet here.

NOTE: “Guest Student” status does not apply to students who are already full time, on-campus students of Millikin University.
For the following terms of study, these are the credits you will receive as a Guest Student of Millikin University:
May Term: SOC 355 for 4 credit hours
January Term: SOC 355 for 4 credit hours
Summer Session: SOC 350, 3 credit hours (for the Chicago Seminar) + SOC 355, 6 credit hours (for your Internship) = 9 credit hours total
Semester: SOC 350, 3 credit hours (for the Chicago Seminar) + SOC 355, 8 credit hours (for your Internship) + SOC 340 (for the Directed Study) 3 credit hours = 14 credit hours total |
