Students attending the Chicago Center for Urban Life and Culture (CCULC) for a semester pay tuition to their college/university of matriculation. CCULC bills the college/university of matriculation the advertised full-time semester tuition for credits earned from the partner college while the student is at CCULC. Chicago Center has limited scholarship funds available and works with each student to match institutional scholarships and financial aid. Most students pay the same tuition amount they do when studying on campus.
The summer session is billed at a flat rate and includes all expenses related to attendance. Chicago Center's scholarship matching policy does not apply to this term.
The Program Fee includes a shared, furnished apartment with internet, and all utilities; a meal plan, textbooks and in-city public transportation.
The Activity Fee covers a student's activities in Chicago, including O-Week and other programs throughout the term.
Health & Wellness Fee
The Health & Wellness Fee covers a student's access to mental health and counseling resources, COVID-19 precautions and testing.
Other Fees: Students will pay a $50 application fee and submit a non-refundable $100 intent to enroll fee to secure their spot in the program.
Ask for Assistance
Do not let these fees prevent you from applying to or enrolling in the Chicago Center.
We work with students who have low tuition costs on a case-by-case basis according to availability of scholarship funds and financial aid at the student's home institution and the Chicago Center.
