Changemaker Fund

Your gift to the Changemaker Fund ensures meaningful opportunities for students with financial constraints who are passionate about social impact. It's a gift of access and possibility.

The Changemaker Fund is an initiative dedicated to leveling the playing field for low income college students who want to study at the Chicago Center. By offering stipends for unpaid internships, it opens doors for those who would otherwise be unable to participate due to financial constraints. This is especially crucial for students of color, from low-income backgrounds, or who are the first in their families to attend college, for whom such opportunities are often out of reach.

The Fund supports college students engaging in unpaid summer internships with up to a $1,000 stipend. This initiative is 100% funded by philanthropy and breaks down financial barriers, ensuring these pivotal experiential learning opportunities accessible to those who might otherwise miss out.

"The Chicago Center helped me decide what I want to do after college, gave relevant work experience, and taught valuable career skills. After the program I felt confident in the path I was taking and prepared to keep following it."
