Ebony K. Bradford, PhD. has dedicated over 15 years in the field of social services lending her
expertise to communities within the west and south sides of Chicago. Dr. Bradford has taught
within the Human Services and Psychology sector for the past six years and has enjoyed
educating, empowering, and coaching students. Over her tenure she has always had a passion for
advocacy and work as it relates to African American families. She has researched and presented
on the topics of Post Traumatic Slavery Disorder, as well as Engaging African American
Families. Ebony has collaborated on evaluation initiatives related to keeping communities safe.
She looks forward to engaging in informative based practices that will bring impacts to
communities. Ebony holds an MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on children and
adolescents from Lewis University and a PhD in Community Psychology from National Louis
University. Ebony lives by the creed of “giving a voice to the voiceless.”
